Schools’ Relay - the Relays happen prior to the Gala Parade on High St Eaglehawk

ENTRY CONDITIONS

School Uniform to be worn 4 entries to each Grade Level per school.

Awards per Grade Level -- dependent on sponsorship & if possible, funds to teams participating!

1st Prize $250 2nd Prize $150 3rd Prize $50 – presented at School Assembly.

MARSHALL TIME 9:30 at Eaglehawk Town Hall (Star Cinema)

All schools gather in front of the Eaglehawk Town Hall & then runners assemble in their teams on pavement (or in front of Borough Club if hot!) about 9.50; runners then walk to their positions with a Dragon City Marshall.

2 RACES

GRADE 3 & 4 – 8 competitors

Each student to run 130m with baton changes at Hawk Hotel, Bendigo Bank, Hawk Hotel, Borough Gallery, Hawk Hotel, Bendigo Bank, Hawk Hotel, starting & finishing at the Borough Gallery.

Total Distance: 1,400m Start time: 10:00 am

GRADE 5 & 6 – 4 competitors

Each student to run 260m with baton changes at the Bendigo Bank, Borough Gallery starting & finishing at the Borough Club.

Total distance: 1,040m Start time: 10.20 am
