Why you should become a member
Becoming a member of Eaglehawk Festivals is a great way to stay in touch with what’s happening in the Burra. You’ll be the first to know about event updates and you’ll help us out by sharing the details with your family and friends, pretty easy stuff.
You can take it further and join a sub-committee who’s role is to plan out one of our cornerstone events during the year. Many hands make light work.
Members also fill our executive and general committee, these members help keep our organisation accountable to the community we serve.
The vision of EFI
The members of Eaglehawk Festivals Inc. aim to create an inclusive and immersive experience for the residents of Eaglehawk, by presenting a diverse range of cultural and entertainment offerings that are organised by the community, for the community.
As well as presenting a wide range of contemporary arts, the festival will seek to retain a number of traditional aspects of the original Dahlia and Arts Festival. Honouring 50+ years of active community engagement and successful events managed and run by the Eaglehawk Festivals team, formerly known as the Dahlia and Arts Festival Committee.
Recognising past success will be critical as the festival grows into new territory and attracts new audiences.

Drives foot traffic to the traders in the Eaglehawk CBD, and promotes participation in local sporting and community organisations
Unique and diverse offerings programmed by community members
Offer support for community-driven initiatives through logistical support, promotion and auspice
