Event Purpose
To engage the local community in a meaningful, inclusive discussion to ensure the Dahlia and Arts Festival remains vibrant, contemporary, and relevant for future generations.
The forum aims to capture ideas, reflect on past successes, and identify practical improvements to strengthen the festival's future.
How will we do this?
Invite broad community participation in shaping the future of the Dahlia and Arts Festival.
Identify key themes, ideas, and ambitions from the community and EFI members.
Consider historic successes and current risks and challenges.
Review relevant planning documents such as the 2013 Eaglehawk Town Centre Masterplan.
Explore creative, safe, and cost-effective alternatives for key festival components like the parade.
Produce a post-event report and action plan for adoption by EFI.

Led by President Reece Hendy with assistance from EFI members and guests who will structure discussion
