Eaglebald Portrait Prize (Schools) - How to enter

Calling educators and students, the Eaglehawk Dahlia and Arts Festival announce the return of the annual Eaglebald portrait prize exhibition from March 20-22, 2026.

The Eaglebald is Eaglehawk’s fun and local take on the famous Archibald Prize for portraiture. Encouraging entries from all ages and abilities.

Your artwork will be displayed in local business windows and at the Eaglehawk Commons (historic Court House).

Eaglehawk Festivals Inc. is sponsoring the prize money.

Pre-school to Grade 6

1st prize - $100

2nd prize - $50

Years 7-12

1st prize $200

2nd prize $100

Cost

$5 per student submission. $25 max per school.

Please note: Preschool-Grade 6 works required on white A4 paper only as they will be mounted on black A3.
