Harvest Scarecrow building Competition

This is your opportunity to get creative this Dahlia and Arts weekend.

Scarecrows go on display 20-22 March 2026 around Eaglehawk Commons.

Awards sponsored by All Stone Quarries (ASQ) who have provided vouchers for competition winners.

We are hoping this is an opportunity for schools and other groups to create, collaborate, participate, have fun and be involved in the Festival.

Judging the competition will be gardener and local icon Ben Wakefield.

Prizes:

Winning School - $200 ASQ voucher

Winning Other Group - $200 ASQ voucher

Two Runner ups - $50 ASQ voucher each

Cost:

$5 per school/group. Max 2 entries.

Please note: Entries must be self supporting (free standing), be strong enough to withstand a variety of weather conditions and movable by committee members as needed.
